Professional Development of Teachers and Future Teachers: Factors and Challenges

The article discusses the features of professional development and self-development teachers students pedagogical educational institutions in Russia, India, Brazil. Russian researchers analyze influence activity future digital environment on their self-development, as well relationship with students' self-determination, namely, goal setting. Empirically, between magistracy desire for was revealed, which, turn, depends severity goals orientation obtaining a teaching profession. study Indian scientists is aimed at studying quality life effectiveness development. It found that majority has low level Factors negatively affect were identified, namely: financial status, unfavorable family environment, physical psychological well-being, job security. Researchers also consider reasons development, including lack time, accountability activities etc. Brazilian examines social perceptions about teacher education authors depicted based four categories: planning, didactic procedures; assessment teacher-student relationship. provides recommendations successful application practice creation an teachers’ taking into account results all three blocks by countries participating this study.
